One of my favourite spaces / places / organizations in New York City is the Textile Arts Center , so when they approached me to ask if I would be interested in developing an exclusive item for the launch of their new online AND brick-and-mortar shops, I jumped at the chance!

What started as an attempt to familiarize myself with a knitting machine that had been collecting dust in the corner of my studio progressed into a colour theory test to see how different yarns would mix together and finally resulted in a group of objects using the knit yarn as a base for a woven pattern that brought me back to sleepaway camp!

Come see the final result along with a matching installation piece hanging amongst all the other amazing design talent that will be available in the TAC SHOP, details here.
