We are so excited to attend MINT at Modefabriek in Amsterdam on July 12 and 13. MINT is a biannual showcase where hundreds of brands present their latest collections and is at the forefront of the sustainable fashion movement in the Netherlands. Their new component MINT INTRODUCES shows exceptionally groundbreaking brands from around the world who are up-and-coming and use innovative techniques or models and features forward-thinking fashion visionaries who determine the future of fashion. Study NY will be featured amongst an international group of designers, including Linda Mai Phung from Vietnam, We Are Islanders from Ireland, Anne Gorke from Germany, and Ratna Ho + Studio Mulder from the Netherlands. Sustainable fashion is growing fast and indicates the direction of the fashion industry.
We will be amongst the many designers who will be available for questions and interviews. On behalf of Study NY, we thank MINT and Fashion Factory for this amazing opportunity to be one of the many international designers who are on the forefront of sustainable and ethical fashion design and production.
Not Just A Label launched a new series called SOUND OF THE STUDIO for the launch of Origin Fair last month and we're excited to share the sounds of new and experimental artists that inspire and motivate us everyday.
As described by NJAL's Kam Dhillon, the mix is a "sonic collage of sweetly self-lacerating sounds and electric throbs that's as thoughtfully conscious as Study NY’s sharp aesthetic and deeper commitment to sustainable living across fashion and lifestyle." Most of our musical influence comes from Study collaborator Cutmistake.
