"Your dress in Phnom Penh!"

by Study NY

About a year ago I received an email from a customer in London who had some fit questions about a few styles.  She had discovered Study several seasons earlier at Dagmar Rousset, her favourite shop in Melbourne (our favourite too, Hen!) and had been a loyal customer ever since. Since then Henrietta has sent me pics of her wearing our clothes in different parts of the world, and the email she sent me today was particularly touching so I asked her if I could share it.

How are you, Tara?

I'm nearing the end of my fieldwork trip in Cambodia. Today was particularly tough and sad - visiting a lake community in which 3000 families have been evicted, to make way for a private investor development.

Here I am, first with a man who has rebuilt his house on the eviction site, then with one family who have accepted a home relocation package to a truly depressing, faraway neighbourhood outside of Phnom Penh, ignored and isolated.

Thank you for the pleasure of the dress! The day was a bit rugged so the twist dress got a bit twisted - I know it's meant to look different!

Very best wishes, and do keep well

Henrietta xx
